Before creating The Bruno Firm, he was a partner in a nationally-renowned firm for plaintiff's civil litigation. He was part of a three-lawyer team that prevailed before the United States Supreme Court in a case he handled from its inception. Klint has served as lead counsel and briefed, argued and won cases in both state and federal courts at trial and on appeal.

He has represented a variety of clients including personal injury victims, public pension plans, private start-ups, institutional investors and private shareholders in complex, sophisticated, multi-party litigation over the course of his 25-year career.

In addition to his extensive trial and appellate work, he has served as lead counsel in several multi-party arbitrations helping to recover tens of millions of dollars.

Klint practices primarily in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, complex litigations and class actions.

His expertise includes financial litigation involving ERISA, the federal and various states' securities laws, along with advising government entities and institutional investors with respect to cost recovery actions.

William Kelly

William D. Kelly

William D. Kelly concentrates his practice in complex litigation, with a focus on class actions involving antitrust, consumer fraud, securities, business torts, consumer privacy and contract law, as well as plaintiff’s personal injury.

As a trial lawyer, William handles all stages of civil litigation, including arguing dispositive motions in state and federal courts, deposing fact and expert witnesses, preparing cases for trial, and trying cases to verdict. William also advises and counsels businesses on a variety of issues ranging from compliance to conflict resolution.

William’s aggressive approach to handling cases helps him identify and solve problems quickly. His passion for advocacy helps him prioritize developing personal relationships with his clients so he can better understand and serve their needs. Always approachable and accessible, William delivers a collaborative approach to his practice to ensure the best outcome for his clients.

In 2022, William was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” a distinction reserved for only 2.5% of Illinois attorneys.

Prior to joining The Bruno Firm, William worked as a litigator at a large defense-focused firm in Chicago, primarily defending entities ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.  These cases were high-stakes civil litigation involving claims of product liability, construction liability, toxic tort, professional liability, transportation liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. William’s previous experience as a civil defense attorney allows him to approach his cases for The Bruno Firm from a unique perspective, as he understands the strategy of his opponents he now litigates against.

William earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as an associate editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. He also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Holly C. Clemons of the Illinois Sixth Judicial Circuit Court. Additionally, William holds a B.A. from the University of Miami, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. While earning his degree, he studied abroad at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

Jamie Robinson 4.72 x 3.78.jpg

Jamie Robinson

Jamie A. Robinson has 23 years of experience litigating cases in state and federal courts around the country. She has served as lead counsel to several corporate clients, typically managing a team of lawyers, and has extensive experience trying cases before both judges and juries, including successfully first chairing a fifty-million-dollar jury trial in 2021. She has taken cases from their inception through trial and the appellate process, giving her a global view on how to frame issues and strategically position her clients to be successful throughout the litigation process. Jamie has historically focused on complex commercial litigation, including business torts, contract law, employment law, and land use law. She has also been involved with and led her clients through alternatives to dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Jamie’s background, like her colleague, Bill, allows her to bring a defense-oriented perspective to The Bruno Firm and its clients because she spent most of her career representing corporate clients on the defense side of civil cases. As a result, she can readily navigate and advise clients of the pitfalls facing unwary plaintiffs who are not familiar with nor accustomed to the litigation process. Jamie’s transition to primarily plaintiffs litigation allows her to focus on cases she is passionate about and that have greater personal stakes. Jamie also volunteers her time to coach high school students for mock trial competitions, keeping her trial skills sharp. Jamie went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison Law School and graduated cum laude.
